The stories from the sewing room of a Southern Belle
Sunday, April 17, 2011
The days have been so nice the last couple of days. So hard to stay in the sewing room. But the last couple of weeks I have gotten a lot of things I have had to do, gone. That's pretty good being that I was in a wheel chair not long ago and learning how to walk again. ( long story) I am so blessed that I can sit in my chair at my sewing machine and sew for as long as I want to now.
Any way here is a baby quilt I did yesterday and finished binding today. It will go to charity.
My husband and I got my garden in the back yard almost back in shape. It went neglected for almost 2 years. It looks loved again.
I have sever Rhemuatoid Arthritis, Married 44 years to an Angel of a man, Have 2 grandchildren. I love dogs.
My real sruggle in live is the pain I suffer everyday from the RA. I take one day at a time or stitch by stitch. But any day in the sewing room is a good day. Fabric makes me happy.
